1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Valor ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Valor is a daily devotional companion designed for women seeking to grow in faith through Scripture, guided prayers, habit tracking, journaling, and weekly reflections rooted in the Proverbs 31 virtues. Features include daily devotionals, a Bible reader, prayer journal, habits tracker, and insights dashboard.
3. Account Registration
Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including prayer journal entries, reflections, and habit data ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant Valor a limited license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Intellectual Property
All devotional content, Scripture commentary, design elements, graphics, and software code within the App are the property of Valor or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without prior written permission.
Scripture texts are used under their respective translation licenses (KJV, ESV, NLT, NIV).
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Valor may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and payment policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.
Prices may change with prior notice. Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Valor's systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App without permission
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Valor is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Devotional content is intended for personal spiritual reflection and should not be considered a substitute for professional counsel.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valor and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, but sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
